OUR SEARCH POLICY


1. Once our service agreement has been cleared and a detailed job description has been received and discussed with both the Human Resources Department and the hiring manager, A.Q.S. will then begin a customized search.
2. The search will usually involve approximately 30-55 hours of direct recruiting work. Between our recruiters and research staff, anywhere from 30-65 people will be contacted in total with your company name held in strict confidentiality. 
3. From this group, the recruiter working on the position will interview usually 8-12 people.  A sample of the topics discussed will include: reasons for leaving, future goals, technical abilities, and personality.  When a “fit” is determined, A.Q.S. will contact the company and make a verbal presentation.  This will be followed by the resume when a face-to-face or a phone interview is confirmed. 
  NOTE:  We do not rewrite, retype, or beautify resumes...this is not our purpose.  A.Q.S. identifies and evaluates exceptional talent for qualified companies.  Many candidates are not actively looking when we contact them.  Consequently, many of the best people do not have nor take the time to make their resume a dissertation.  Be sure to understand the underlying principles of your expectations for employment.

For our 30-55 hours of work with no guarantee of payment, all we require is that you spent 30 minutes on the phone with 1-3 qualified candidates.

4. Once interviews take place, we follow-up with both the candidate and company.  If everything looks positive, further discussions follow regarding compensation, benefits, relocation, and other personal or professional issues.    
5. After a successful hire, we follow-up with both the new employee and company a couple of times to make sure that a successful transition has occurred.
6. We are able to attract a much higher caliber of candidate because we assure them that their resume will not be sent to a company unless:  

-The candidate is interested and gives us permission.

  -The company wants to speak to them.
