Job Description:

The hiring manager is a person who I placed at this exact company almost twenty years ago now is in charge of North American Quality! She is a fair, knowledgeable automotive quality professional who leads by example at this multinational Tier-1 automotive supplier.

This position is based at the corporate office. However, as we all know, the product and profits are made at the plants. As a Corporate Quality Engineer, you will have responsibilities that take you to the plants and customers based upon what product lines you are in charge of…be prepared to travel on many day trips and some overnight as well. The structure of the department gives you cradle to grave duties from the initial PPAP and APQP right on through to production and dealing with root causes analysis using tools such as 8d.
The company has a track record of promoting Corporate Quality Engineers to the plant locations as well. As far as you becoming the head of all quality in North America, it did happen here. So, with some hard work, focus and success, who knows?

Requirements:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• Strong TS16949 background
• CQE or CQM a strong plus

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience utilizing TS16949
• Knowledge of all aspects of automotive quality from APQP launch all the way through to customer contact
