Job Description:

The focus of this position is balanced by both helping suppliers solve problems by on root cause analysis, but also helping them in process improvements and APQP before they get into trouble. 50% of the time you are a cop, and the other 50% you are an angel helping them as a proactive quality consultant.

Travel is about 50%, so you will be on the road quite a bit. There is flexibility in your schedule. However, make no mistake about it. Your job is to be at supplier locations where you can directly impact the process.

The typical tools will be needed from automotive quality such as: 8D, SPC, root cause analysis, 5 whys….etc.

To be considered for the position, you need to be an experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer and not just someone wanting to be one. You must have a proven track record with automotive suppliers in helping them both get out of trouble and working with their quality team proactively.

You need to have a full bachelor’s degree and experience with tier-1 and tier-2 automotive suppliers as a SQE.

Requirements & Skills:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
• Strong TS16949 background
• 5+ years experience
• CQE or CQA a strong plus
