It’s Jon Molesky here, and, for many of you who have known me recruiting in the automotive quality field for over twenty five years, here is the story as I see it:

Have you ever wanted to live on the Atlantic Ocean? Well, this may be your chance if you are an automotive quality professional since I am tasked with multiple openings:

The current needs in the Charleston area are for 3 different type of folks.

#1. Customer Quality Engineer – You will specialize in customer quality focusing on not only APQP and launch, but also problem resolution. There is travel involved which is well planned on the APQP side, and some unexpected travel with customer issues as they pop-up.

#2. Supplier Quality Engineer – You will be involved with supplier issues from A-Z. There will be travel to Asia and Europe. Much of the travel can be eliminated using modern technology and communication methods. APQP, PPAP and 8D formats and methodology are musts for this person to succeed.

#3. APQP Launch Quality Engineer – You will be a key member of a launch team bringing the project to production. We need an individual who can hit the ground running with APQP, control plans, capability studies, D and P-FMEAs. You know who you are.
