It’s Jon Molesky here, and, for many of you who have known me recruiting in the automotive quality field for over twenty-five years (and even those of you who don’t), here is the story as I see it:
Our hiring manager is a person whom I placed before have known for over 20 years! He is an honest, knowledgeable automotive quality professional who leads by example at this multinational Tier-1 automotive supplier. You will enjoy working together since results and cooperation are the names of the game.
This Senior Quality Engineer needs to bring APQP skills and knowledge of statistics. Just talking buzzwords is not going to cut it here. You need to have experience in how to apply them to make real improvements. This plant needs to enhance their skill level as volumes increase. You will wear all the hats taking products from PPAP right on through to production and dealing with customers with problem solution and root-cause analysis.
The only downside I see is that you might have to get a boat to fit in there on the North Carolina coast!
